2008年を締めくくるにあたり、皆さんと私の経験を分かち合いたいと思います。イタリアのアンコーナで10ヶ月間イタリア語を少し学んだ後、2008年8月3日（日）、メキシコ出身のザベリアン神父、フェリペ・ロペス・オロスコ氏と共に大阪に到着しました。最初の2週間は、大阪・泉佐野にあるザベリアン神父の邸宅に滞在しました。そこでは、神戸（数年前の震災の爪痕が残っていました）、京都の神明寺、古都奈良など、いくつかの有名な都市を訪問する機会に恵まれました。写真と投稿はMultiplyに投稿しました。
ここでの私の生活が神の恵みに満ち、日本の信徒たちから温かく受け入れられていることに感謝しています。現在、日本で活動するザベリアンは34名います。スペイン出身が2名、ブラジル出身が1名、メキシコ出身が1名、そしてインドネシア出身の私、残りはイタリア出身です。ですから、私たちの間で使われている言語はイタリア語です。イタリアでの生活経験は、建国の父の言葉でコミュニケーションをとる上で役立っています。これまで以上に理解できるようになったことを嬉しく思います。パーセンテージで言うと、イタリアに住む前は10%でしたが、イタリアに住んでからは90%になりました。完璧にイタリア語を学ぶのは簡単ではありません。ですから、少なくとも話したり理解したりできるようになったことで、私にとっては十分だと思いました。そして、これは日本での生活にとても役立っています。
日本では、私は他の3人の司祭とともにある教区に住んでいます。教区長のダニロ・マルケット神父（56歳、リノ・ベンゾーニ神父とルイジ・メネガッツォ神父の同級生）、ブラジル出身のミケーレ神父（1977年生まれ、新たに1年間日本語を勉強しました）、そしてフェリペ神父（メキシコ出身、1972年生まれ、メキシコのアランダスにあるSX中等神学校で7年間働きました）です。私たちが住んでいる教区には約300人がいます。日曜の朝9時に島崎教会で行われたミサには約80人が出席し、その大部分は年配の母親、つまり高齢者でした。この教会の近くには、幼稚園とハンセン病患者を含む病院を運営しているFMMのシスターズがあります。そこには約50人のシスターがおり、その大半も高齢者です。毎日ミサはシルクのチャペルで日本語で執り行われます。私とフェリペはこの教区の小さな礼拝堂でミサを執り行っていました。その間、ダニロ神父とミシェル神父は交代で保育室で毎日のミサを導いていました。1ヶ月前から、フェリペ神父と二人きりのミサでは、日本語でミサを執り行っていました。私はひらがなが読めるので、そのミサでゆっくりと練習しました。会衆がいないのは私たち二人だけだったからです。3週間に一度、私は武蔵丘教区のレナート・フィリッピーニ神父のいる武蔵丘教区で英語のミサを執り行っています。このミサには、日本人と結婚して暮らしているフィリピン人の母親たちが参加していました。子どもたちを含めて40人から60人ほどが参加していました。
私たちは、この教区から約5キロ離れたYWCA（Youth Women Christian Association）という学校で、個人的に日本語を勉強していました。週に4回、この学校に通い、午前10時から正午まで授業を受けていました。残りの生徒は、既存の教科書を使って自分で宿題をしていました。この言語を学ぶ手段は数多くありますが、私も時間をかけて最善の方法を模索しています。最初の2年間は、この学校で正式な日本語を学ぶ年でした。その後は、関西圏（大阪など）か九州のSXの活動拠点のいずれかに配属されます。私たちのほとんどは、各小教区に司祭1名、通常は他の小教区にも2名ずつ配属され、教区内で活動しています。
私にとって素晴らしい経験の一つは、2008年11月24日（月）に日本で迎えた最初の誕生日です。長崎球場で、188人の日本人殉教者（ペトロ岐部他）の列福ミサが執り行われました。私たちは、これらの小教区の信徒3万人と約500人の司祭と共に参加しました。日本には45万人の日本人カトリック信者と、50万人の外国人カトリック信者（ブラジル、メキシコ、ペルー、その他のラテンアメリカ諸国、そしてフィリピン）がいます。列福ミサの時は、サイのように雨が降り、少し寒いですが、厳粛に日本語で、そして時折イタリア語でミサを執り行います。
私が住んでいる熊本市は、街の中心部に古城があり、周囲を丘に囲まれたとても美しい街です。熊本城は映画「ラストサムライ」の撮影地です。熊本から約30分の神明山は、フランコ・ソットコルノラ神父が異宗教間対話の拠点としています。来年1月には、パスポートの更新のため大阪のインドネシア領事館に行きます。昨年8月に初めてこの領事館に赴いた時は、カトリック教徒であるモゼス・タンドゥン・レラティン神父に温かく迎えられました。
インドネシアで私が趣味としていたサイクリングも、日本人に好まれていました。インドネシアの街では、おしゃれな服装をした日本人が男女問わず、ネクタイやスーツ姿でオフィスに出勤する姿もよく見かけます。彼らの自転車のモデルは、私の折りたたみ自転車とよく似ています。そこで、熊本から大阪まで使う折りたたみ自転車を購入しました。最初はバスのバッグと荷物に折りたたんでしまい、大阪の難波に着いてから使い始めました。熊本から大阪まではバスで約9時間半です。今夜のバスでは、他の3人のSXマスターは福岡から飛行機で出発するので、私は一人で出発します。私たちは、大阪・泉佐野のSX地域会館で、P.ティツィアーノ・トソリーニ氏による儒教の講義に出席します。

Before ending this 2008, I would like to share my experience with you guys. After 10 months in Ancona, Italy to learn a little Italian, finally Sunday, August 3, 2008 I was with Father Xaverian from Mexico, Felipe Lopez Orozco arrived in Osaka, Japan. The first two weeks we stayed at the SX propiatriate house in Izumi Sano, Osaka. There we were invited to visit several famous cities, namely Kobe (there were remnants of the earthquake a few years ago), Kyoto with Shintonya temple, Nara with its ancient city, etc.... had a photo and post on my Multiply
Thank God that the life and life I have lived here is full of God’s grace and good acceptance from our conflishers in Japan. Today there are 34 Xaverians who work in Japan, namely 2 of Spanish origin, 1 Brazil, 1 Mexico and me from Indonesia, the rest from Italy. So, the language used between us is Italian. My experience living in Italy has helped me to communicate with the language of our Founding Father. I’m glad to be able to understand it more than ever. In the percentage scale, my understanding of this Italian is 10% before I live in Italy and after living in Italy 90%. It’s not easy to study the language perfectly so I realized that at least I was able to speak and understand others...it’s enough for me...and this is very useful for me in Japan.
In Japan I live in one parish with 3 other priests, Danilo Marchetto (56 years old, classmate of Father Rino Benzoni and Father Luigi Menegazzo) as the head of the parish, P. Michele of Brazilian origin (born 1977-newly a year more Japanese studies), P. Felipe (origin of Mexico born in 1972, 7 years working at the SX medium seminary in Arandas, Mexico). The parish we live in has about 300 people. Mass in the Shimasaki church building Sunday morning at 9 o'clock was attended by about 80 people and the majority of senior mothers aka elderly. Near this church there is a sister of FMM that has kindergarten and hospitals including for leprosy people. There are about 50 sisters and the majority of the elderly as well. Daily Mass is celebrated in the silk chapel in Japanese. Me and Felipe used to mass in small chapels in this parish while P.Danilo and P.Michelle took turns leading the daily mass in the nursery. Since a month ago I was in a daily mass when I was alone with P.Felipe, I celebrated in Japanese. Since I was able to read the Japanese Hiragana, I slowly practiced it in that daily mass, only the two of us were without the people. Every third week I get the turn to lead the English mass in the Musashigaoka parish in the Musashigaoka parish in which Father Renato Filippini,sx. This mass was attended by the mothers of the Philippines who lived and married to the Japanese. There were about 40 to 60 people including their children.
We studied Japanese in private in one school called YWCA (Youth Women Christian Association), about 5 km from this parish. 4 times a week we went to this school and every lesson from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The rest learn to do your own homework from existing books. Many means there are to learn this language then I also have to spend time and The best possible means. The first two years were the year for formal Japanese study at this school. After that, it is only placed in one of the places where SX works in the Kansai zone (Osaka et al) or in Kyushu. The majority of us work in the parish with one priest each parish and usually double the other parish.
One wonderful experience for me is my first birthday in Japan, Monday, November 24, 2008, celebrated with a beatification mass of 188 Japanese martyrs (Peter Kibe et al) at Nagasaki baseball stadium. We participated with these parishes and 30 thousand Japanese Catholics and about 500 priests. Japan has 450 thousand Japanese Catholics and 500 thousand non-Japanese Catholics (Brazil, Mexico, Peru and other Latin America as well as the Philippines). When the beatification mass it rains in rhinos and is a little cold and walks solemnly in Japanese and occasional Italian.
Kumamoto City where I live is very beautiful because there is one ancient castle in the middle of the city and surrounded by hills. Castle Kumamoto is the film set of the Last Samurai. Shinmeizan where Father Franco Sottocornola, sx interfaith dialogue about 30 minutes from Kumamoto. In the coming January I will go to Osaka to renew my passport at the Indonesian consulate. The first time I reported myself in this consulate last August, I was welcomed by the general general who was a Catholic, the Father Mozes Tandung Lelating.
My hobby of cycling in Indonesia was also favored by the
Japanese. Many found in the cities here, Japanese people with
fashionable clothes both boys and girls cycling eria, even with ties and
suits entering the office. Their bike models are many that are similar
to my folding bike. So I just got this folding bike that I will later
use from Kumamoto to Osaka .... first folded into the bag and luggage of
the bus, only after arriving in Namba, Osaka, I used. By bus from
Kumamoto – Osaka the journey is about 9.5 hours. With tonight's bus I'm
going to set out on my own because the other three sx masters will take
the plane from Fukuoka. We will attend a lecture on Confucianism handled
by P.Tiziano Tosolini,sx at the SX regionalate house in Izumi Sano,
Osaka.
